Implementing Conference Calling and Communication Technologies to Further the Alternative Fuels Move

The juxtaposition of oil prices shooting over $115 a barrel and coal costs doubling has been instrumental in awakening a new sense of consciousness about alternative fuel.

With American drivers paying close to $3.90 per gallon of petrol and California drivers paying approximately $4.25 per gallon, enthusiasm is growing for a national commitment to embrace adoption of alternative fuels. Today in the Dulles technology corridor, the expectation is that professional folks will have at least a minimal LinkedIn profile.

Meanwhile, other networking systems such as Facebook are starting to experience usage by more professional users. While the word networking frequently gets a less than ideal connotation, the clear reality is that these networks can provide significant aid.

Another factor is the flourishing of the types of free conference calling services highlighted above. Whether these be wind, liquified coal, or solar, American consumers are now realizing that our country's energy independence and economy are 100% linked to reducing our reliance on oil.

It would appear as if the political environment has never been more favorable for the alternative fuels movement.
The alternative fuels cause has now reached a tipping point. These services also offer a relatively simple method of increase your network.

Second Tip: Use a free conference calling offering

In the last several years, there has been escalating degrees of coordination between geographically diverse alternative fuels advocacy groups.

Third Tip: Investigate technology to allow desktop sharing

Some alternative fuels advocacy groups have distributed leadership teams, and it is impractical to expect in person meetings. To truly seize this opportunity, the organizations that comprise the movement would be well served to consider the benefits of technology in improving the cross community communication needed to generate lasting successes.

Indeed, many alternative energy lobbying organizations could experience benefits from implementing new technologies that enable networking. All of these systems, including those offered by Rondee.com work on the same underlying principle. Technology is solving this problem by way of desktop sharing. That has now changed. Examples include Rondee's free conference call system which enables robust teleconferencing as well as online conference calling and networking tools.

First Tip: Utilize web tools to network

The most successful alternative fuels advocacy organizations create networks of supporters who believe in their philosophy and mission. Whether it's viewing a PowerPoint document illustrating the group's development plan or a spreadsheet showing the tracking of volunteer participation desktop sharing can be extremely useful for many green groups.

Tip #4: Use an electronic news system

It wasn't that long in the past that sending out an email newsletter was time consuming and tiresome. They give users a PIN and a toll number to dial. On-line services are making it feasible to use templated and scalable newsletters. These solutions reduce the work load by at approximately ninety percent and in so doing allow green organizations to concentrate on content creation as opposed to delivery of messages.

----------
Bob Letterman worked on developing the Rondee.com free conference call service that enables quality teleconferencing.
If all conference call users dial the same toll bridge number and enter the same PIN code, they are placed into the conference phone call. One underlying reason for this trend has been reduced air travel costs â€ÂÂ" a trend that may now be going the opposite direction with the leaping oil costs mentioned above.

Selecting the Best Drinking Water Filter

They charge more for drinking water filters that are supposed to last longer, but the cost per gallon or per day is easier to compare. This article may be reprinted on a blog or website. In some states, drinking water filter companies are required to provide perfomance data along with their sales brochures. Please include this resource box.
Using that “rule of measure", the countertop drinking water filter will last 6 months. Visit his site at: http://www.CleanWaterPure.com to discover which water filtration systems Pete recommends after diligent comparisons. Weight, exercise and sex are issues that come into play, along with overall health. The cartridge should then be replaced.

When comparing drinking water filters, let's assume that 4 in the family drinks on the average about 500 gallons of water in a six month period. Their drinking water filter cost 9.6 cents per gallon.
Drinking water filters come with many choices. Let’s refer again to the #1 company we mentioned before. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it is the best for your home and family. It may be a little difficult to figure out at first, but here’s the simplest formula that we have found.

On the average, each person uses 80-100 gallons of water per day, but most of that goes for flushing toilets and so does not apply to drinking water filters.

According to the company that provides the #1 rated drinking water filters in America, a healthy adult needs at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day.

Many companies are a little tricky. So what is often missed is the most important feature - what's inside- the drinking water filter.

Your guide when shopping for drinking water filters, is product performance data. The effectiveness of a drinking water filter that attaches to the kitchen tap should be based on how many people you have in your family and how much water you expect them to drink from the tap on any given day. Since this is not a nationwide regulation, some companies may not be able or willing to disclose performance facts.

It is difficult to determine how much water a person needs on any given day, according to the Mayo Clinic. Nortay is a dedicated advocate of promoting healthy living and meticulous researcher of water purification systems. A large confusing selection in sizes, appearance and yes even colors.

They have the least expensive drinking water filter on the market when comparing cost per use. Less effective drinking water filters cost more.

So much of the time we fall into the trap that if we pay more we will get more.

Don’t even considdr buying any drinking water filter that does not provide product performance data.

Product performance data sheets will allow you to compare the effectiveness of a product (what it leaves in, what it takes out), as well as the cost of use, either in terms of gallons of water filtered or in terms of time. By doing a little research it is easily verified that cost has very little to do with quality especially when it comes to getting the proper drinking water filter.
Shop around and you will see that's very obvious.

Pete C. Therefore the cost of use for a drinking water filter takes into account the cost of replacement filters over a six month period or per 500 gallons. That's is not the case when it comes to choosing a drinking water filter.

Climate Change And Your Retirement âÃÂàWhat Will Your Future Be?

They may even consult financial planners and know what they will do with their time once retired. However, with the current trend of ever-increasing pollution and continual further devastation of forests there will soon no longer be a future that can sustain all of humanity.

While the country in which you live can influence the quality of your lifestyle, it cannot control the way the planet’s ecological structures respond to the ever-increasing pollution and ecological damage that is becoming an increasing burden.
Most people will begin tolook at their future and decide where they wish to live, what to do with their time and how best to afford it. They do not expect a future with such severely diminished forests, that these forests can no longer support the environment, or a potential future with lack of fresh, clean air.

Most people would like to have a future whereby all their needs are met including enough fresh, clean air, clean water and to be able to live in a sustainable environment. They usually do not look at their future from the perspective of climate change and global warming and the outcome of an ever-increasing burden on the ecology.

One of the most important issues for all of humanity is to have sustainable living conditions and a sustainable environment. While is likely there will no longer be an environmentally sustainable future left within the next 25 years, not many people are taking notice of this fact. This will mean that the future we would all like, one with favorable ecological conditions is no longer a certainty. Within the next five to seven years this diminishing of fresh clean air will become a real environmental issue.

The weather patterns are changing due to global warming and ecologically unsustainable environments. This, in turn, is creating the untenable situation whereby, most likely within the next fifteen years, many river systems will no longer be able to support humanity. Chapter 1 can be viewed on her website www.miadenhaan.com
This information can be found in her book - New Concepts for Business and Humanity. Also, because of the amount of pollution that flows into rivers there may no longer be enough fresh water supplies. The current climate change issues as well as the ever-increasing pollution are creating an ecological disaster situation that can no longer be fixed and nature is not capable of restoring itself

Humanity will need to make adequate changes to their lifestyle, as there are no longer other options. It is running out of time.

Mia was told by Spirit in 2004 that by 2009 major climate changes would begin. This may begin to affect more people than currently expected within the next ten years.
While most of us do not look at our future from an ecological perspective, it is important to begin to think of what the result will be of the current continuing ecological devastation and how this may affect your future. This issue is however still ignored by most people. In addition, the oxygen we breathe might also become more and more poisoned because of man-made chemical processes as well as fall-out from volcanic eruptions. Changing weather patterns are already happening more and more and are a result of climate change.

A looming issue of importance to us al is that our forests can soon no longer adequately supply oxygen, which is a major contributor to humanity’s well-being.

Recycling Benefits for Business and Individuals

Already creating around $37 Million in salaries annually, we can be in no doubt that recycling has a positive effect in that regard. On one level the cost of recycling is actually much less than incineration, land fills and waste collection meaning that the more we shift towards recycling the more the world can benefit as a whole through reduced taxation, meaning funds are spent in a better way which will ultimately benefit everyone.

According to information provided by the Nation Recycling Coalition many cities are starting to change their perception on recycling, years after claiming that it would be a drain on their economy. So far, our recycling efforts are working well, and a great sign that as our recycling efforts scale, we will all benefit.

About the Author:
Recycleinme.com, The best online source for trade of scrap and recyclables. Now 70 Million tons of previously useless waste is now put to use and being resold as products and put to use in our gardens up and down the country.

Recycling is also reducing most categories of water and air pollutants, so as we recycle more, as we are doing at the moment, we are reducing the amount of pollutants that would otherwise end up in the water that we drink and the air that we breathe. It offers scrap news, scrap prices and other metal prices.

At the moment, recycling is responsible for 1.1 Mil jobs in the USA, with that number expected to rise as more governments get behind recycling. For those reasons alone recycling has certainly had a positive impact. Now this really means that people can save big by turning towards recycling, and they have further incentives when they are actually being charged for the burden on the economy that they create. And another great indicator is that the energy consumed from creating the glass that can be saved from recycling one glass bottle is enough to light a single bulb for 4 hours straight. New York is one of the more prominent examples. As well as creating jobs directly, recycling also creates many jobs indirectly in the form of private sector contracts, innovation and subsequent revenues and employment. To give an indication of how that impacts us; for every one ton of paper that is recycled rather than thrown away, we can expect to save 15 trees from being cut down.
While there are many disadvantages and problems that are caused by not recycling, this article provides information on the benefits of recycling to date and the positive outcome that we have experienced as a result of businesses and individuals who have decided to get behind recycling for personal and less selfish reasons. Find thousands of scrap buyers and scrap suppliers.

Now local councils are trying to increase people’s propensity to recycle with new measures being taken to charge people for as much waste they throw away. City decision makers felt years back that recycling would be a $40 Mil drain on the economy, however after speaking with experts they re asserted their position and found that they could save $20 Mil with a carefully planned and well executed recycling campaign.

Recycling and composting now moves more than double the waste away from landfill sites that it did 10 years ago.

Summer Solstice âÃÂàBask In The Golden Hue

Since your energy levels are on a high, you also feel like doing work that you have been pushing around through the year! Snow begins to thaw in places where they had not budged previously.

Summer Solstice is the time for celebrations galore.

A special mention must be made of the setting sun, as Shelley put it â€ÂÂ" ‘In the golden lightning/ Of the sunken sun’. Before we delve into the depths of the whys and the hows, it would be worthwhile to make it clear at the very onset that it has a lot of other aspects that must be taken into consideration if we are to understand the vast gamut of associations that can be linked to this annual event. This is the time for people who love outdoor activities.

It can also be interpreted as a new dawn in terms of relationships.

Summer solstice is the peak of summer. Studies suggest that people are in their cheerful best when the weather is good and breezy. This is the cycle. It is a shot-lived joy that Nature herself offers us. You just need to have a heart that appreciates beauty. Therefore, June 20 is the longest in the northern hemisphere and consequently, the night is the shortest. In Latin, solstice means ‘to stand still’. If you had been going through a rather rough patch in with your love, this is the time to let the sun pierce through the veils of darkness that have lately accumulated between the two of you. That is why the summer solstice is looked upon as the ‘beginning of something’ in many cultures. Just go out and revel in the myriad colors of summer. Its one of those rare pleasures in life that come to you irrespective of your social or economic status. When the sun is on that particular latitude in the north, it is called summer ! solstice. Send summer solstice wishes by sending summer solstice greetings .
Summer Solstice, which is on June 20, is essentially a geographical phenomenon. These aspects can be cultural, traditional or merely symbolic. Make sure you have a field day! Similarly, when the sun is on the same degree in the southern hemisphere, it is called winter solstice. Anyway, you do not need an excuse to bask in the warm sunlight. The length of the days being long, you also get a lot of time to spend outdoors. If we are to fully comprehend the significance of the term ‘summer solstice’, let us begin by the geographical explanations.

The sun is directly overhead a particular latitude in the north and south of the equator every year. This is the last latitude to have the sun directly overhead. There are festivities and events in many regions.

Dorothy Smith, the author of this article, writes about the events & special occasions. The warm glow of the lovely weather does a lot of good to evaporate the drudgery that had rusted your soul during the long, dull and monotonous winter. It is time to throw of the shackles and disperse the gloomy fog. It is the latitude of twenty three and a half degrees on either side. Want to know more about summer solstice celebrations or summer solstice cards ? Check some other free ecards . Then on, the degrees recede and the sun is directly overhead the equator and finally, into the southern hemisphere.

Branded Entertainment Company in India

The later is sports with a script and storyline backing it and the final product is delivered live to the audience.

Next in line are the Electronics media and off-shore related ventures. On a work front a Branded Entertainment Company in India handles all these components with ease.

Now to the main point!!! Therefore there has to be a track on the budget to know what the actual and the estimated expenditure of the event is. Here the mode of Entertainment is provided through media communications via films, television, radio, etc, etc. Who manages the complete transactions? Other media targeting activities would include a fashion show or an exhibition in an art gallery amongst others. It could be theatre, a musical show, a sports show, a fashion show or any show that involves performing arts.
Entertainment is considered to be one of the biggest money grossing factors in the market today. A fare or an exhibition at a museum or an art gallery, all fall under this category. All in all a Branded Entertainment Company in India is indeed a jackpot and anyone associated with it is bound to make a lot of money.
An Entertainment Company primarily deals with activities that relate to recreation that is catered to the common public. The next one is the Mass-Media. 2) The Mass Media Entertainment Industry.
3) Electronic Industry. The Entertainment Industry on a whole consists of a large number of sub-industries, basically categorized into four major parts.
1) Traditional Live Entertainment Industry. Today you have a complete industry dedicated to this field. The categorized sub-industry has their own audiences that help them to flourish.

The traditional live industry is provides entertainment live to the audience, instead of a taped format as followed by the other groups. Entertainment in this category is also related to exhibitions. So entertainment from the Off- shore part is provided to us in India through the help of distributors. The entire motive is to provide the common masses with news that seems to be an illusion compared to the daily chores they face.

In the initial stages an entertainment program was basically sponsored by corporate houses who at the most had stakes involved with the venture that was produced and then provided through television or media to the general audiences. It could be movies, animated films, commercial advertisements featuring top celebrities and sports entertainment shows like wrestling and boxing. 4) Related off-shore Entertainment. The film industry is considered to be the biggest entertainment industry in India with the yearly budget that includes turn-overs and profits soaring a billion Rupees and is easily the most dominating sector in Mass-Media. A Night Club comes close to this particular segment as music and records from the films get there major promotion done here. If the Entertainment Company in question is really big, branded and has a reputation to keep, it is essential that it has an account management firm to keep in check of their accounts. You also have Gambling and the po! rnographic Industry as mode of entertainers that is mainly kept aside for adults. The Film industry in India is dubbed as “Bollywood”, where as the film industry that is based in the United States is termed as “Hollywood”. An entertainment company churns out huge money all the time, it hosts, sponsors and even arranges events, and hence a lot of money at any instant is at stake. The Electronic Media provides entertainment in the form of various computer games and technology stuff like the internet and mobile phones. Where as the “see also” entertainment industry consists of related entertainment stuff from overseas.

Do Fuel Saver Products Really Work ?

They even allow you to join for free for 30 days to hold your spot while you try the product. THEY THINK THEY WILL SELL MORE CARS THAT WAY AND IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING FOR THEM.

Well the first thing we should know is what kind of fuel saver products there are and which one we want to focus on. The function of the catalytic converter is to burn AND WASTE all the unburned fuel - caused by poor engine design!!! The best part of this is as bonus, they start sending you 10.00 gas cards for free and that is how they can say (neverpayforfuel). If your answer is yes then you owe it to yourself to check out cheapfuel.neverpayforfuel.com

Am interested in keeping our environment clean, saving fuel and prolonging engine life

The oil companies and car manufactures know that these cars are designed to waste fuel. For a while, only for a while (short sighted, I said) because they are destroying the economy and the planet for their own sons and daughters.

With the prices of fuel jumping between $ 3.00 and $4.00 dollars a gallon depending on what state you live in, a good fuel saver product could save you a lot of money over the year if indeed any of them truly work.

It is my opinion that all of them work to some extent, but if they only work a little the extra money you are paying for the additive is costing more than you are saving, or may only save you a few pennies. All it takes is your name and an email address so they can send you a webpage to get going and order products at the dealer price.

Also with Bitron you can start your own business.

In conclusion let me say this, if you are fed up with the high price of fuel like the rest of us, don’t you think it is time to start doing something about it instead of just complaining. To make it worthwhile to buy the product and then waste time putting it in your gas tank you should be able to save between 20 to 25%. Automakers know they have poorly designed vehicles â€ÂÂ" and the fact that every car MUST have, by law, a large and expensive catalytic converter - is an admission that they don't burn gasoline correctly in those new designs. If you like the product you can then become a paid distributor and keep your spot where you will find someone has already started a downline for you. They want you to waste gas and they want engines to run hot and burn valves and pistons and lubricating oil, and they want the systems in your vehicle to clog itself up with unburned fuel. After testing many products I believe the best candidate for this is Bitron.

Not only do they have a gas additive that gets you the 25% but they also have additives to add to your engine, transmission and rear axle that reduces friction saving you even more.

These other additives reduce friction almost to 0 which also gives the drive train a longer life that saves on repairs. There are some fuel saver products that you ad to your gasoline and some fuel saver products that you add to your car engine to save fuel.

First thing you must realize is that the engines that we are using today are poorly designed.

How to Get Started With Recycling

This includes breaking open drinks-cans rings so that an animal cannot get their head trapped in it, as well as ripping open plastic bags so they are just in the form of a single sheet.

Paper/Newspaper

Paper and newspaper is generally the easiest item to recycle because it is the most sought after item. If everyone had that attitude, where would be?

Organize Your Waste

Rather than sticking your rubbish into one central place, it is important that you categorize waste in order to recycle it. Following is an explanation of how you can get started with recycling and give something back as well as improve your quality of your life and the quality of life for your children and your children’s children. Some places will have a dedicated pick-up to come and take your waste away, while other areas will require that you drive a substantial distance in order to drop it off. Once you have left the compost for a period of a few weeks, it is now ready to treat the soil in your garden.

Compost

Compost should be used to enrich your soil in your garden. You should then place all tins and cans in a dedicated waste bin.

Plastic

Plastic wrappings and other plastic items should be treated with caution when recycling them. You should place glass in one place, tins/cans in one place, plastics in one place, compost in one place and have another place for cardboard and paper/newspaper. You should be especially careful not to place any other items into this container as it will cause problems for the recycler later on. Either way, it is important that you do your bit for society.

Recycling Tins/Cans

When recycling tins and cans you should firstly remove all the paper from the outside and try to flatten any sharp edges to limit any risk of you being cut.

Find out about Recycling Facilities Where you Live

You should find out about the facilities available in your county. After you read your old newspapers and magazines you should place them inside a dedicated container so that they can later be recycled. Find thousands of scrap buyers and scrap suppliers.
Recycling helps to save forests from depleting, increases the quality of our water and stimulates the economy. For those reasons and many more it is important that everyone does what they can to ensure that they are doing their bit for mother earth. Depending on where you live, you may find it is harder or easier to recycle your waste. Many people have a compost heap in their garden. Many people say that they don’t do their bit towards recycling because their effort on their own is not enough to make a difference, however this is simply not true. If you do not have a large garden then you could consider asking your neighbors, friends and family members if they could make use of it.

How to enhance your Brisbane garden with steel sculptures

All his garden ornaments have been coated with a high quality etch primer followed by an enamel exterior paint. Any size garden can be enhanced with sculpture as it draws the eye to a focal point as you walk around the garden. With the correct coating outdoor sculpture should last for years in the garden.

One sculptor who is creating uniquely Australian garden sculpture is Peter Kozina of Brisbane's bayside. Every garden would have a little spot which could be better highlighted using an unusual sculpture, a bird bath or water feature rather than just another plant.

Metal sculpture is often chosen due to its durability to withstand the variances of weather and the uniqueness that the artist can create. He immediately sees an emu, eagle or perhaps a person's stance in a shape he discovers buried in the scrap heaps of Queensland. He is often inspired in his work by what he sees in a discarded piece of scrap metal whether it be a piece from an old plough, a brush hook or railway spike from days gone by.

Recycling has long been a passion of Peter's and he likes nothing better than making something worthwhile out of supposed "junk". His individual sculptures have been specially treated with a formula he has created to allow the natural look of rusted metal to be maintained without rusting any further. No two are the same as he builds the stand out of an old car or truck spring which leads up to the bath encased in a discarded basketball hoop with 2 feeders on either side. Another popular item is his unique birdbaths. Peter's motto has always been : "Bringing the past to life in sculpture".

Peter Kozina specialises in Brisbane garden ornaments and is a Brisbane steel and metal sculptor. It flows into a bucket so for the water saving folk it uses only a small amount of water to get that soothing sound of running water.

Peter is aware of the difficulty metal features have in being able to withstand the weather. Peter's works are made completely from recycled steel hence he goes by the business name "Recycled Treasures". Old pushbike wheels have been transformed into penny farthings which look really colourful when the 3 pots are planted with your favourite annuals.

He turns a rusty wheelbarrow into a real talking point complete with a huge central terracotta bowl and 4 smaller pots surrounding it enhanced with scrollwork.

Water features are popular in modern garden design.

All the purchaser has to do is spray it occasionally with clear lacquer if it is in direct sunlight and the sculpture once again has that wonderful lustre.

Careful positioning of these sorts of things has traditionally been used in garden feng shui to bring all the elements into the garden. He was featured in a segment on Channel Nine's Brisbane Extra last year which highlighted the benefits of recycling in the Brisbane area.

Peter also makes a series of garden ornaments which feature terracotta pots which can be planted up as an added feature in the home garden.
Sculpture has been used for centuries to enhance a garden's natural beauty. Peter makes his uniquely Australian by using farm posts with an old brass tap attached. It is often heavier and more stable with the ability to be pegged to the ground which is important in strong winds.

5 Reasons Why You Should Recycle

The creation of products which involve using natural resources such as fossil fuels that burn carbon dioxide is not needed for a large amount of products. In a study conducted by the Conversation Commission it was found that in 12 Southern States of the United States over $18Billion was created by the recycling industry alone. This is, for the most part, an unnecessary evil which could be stopped and reduced by using removed parts of the manufacturing process through using already created raw materials and manufacturer’s materials which form the essence of products that have already been consumed.

Recycling Stops the Continued Growth of Landfill Sites â€ÂÂ" Landfill areas give off chemicals into the air and pollute water that is under the ground as well as causing acid rain from their evaporation. With the decrease in forest areas, wildlife that previously lived in forest areas has nowhere to go and as such wildlife dies as a result. For example, glass can easily be recycled but is not being done as much as it could because it is not as cost-effective for manufacturers.

Recycling Can Help Curb Water Pollution â€ÂÂ" Water pollution is caused by a variety of factors, however the most prominent of these is in the manufacturing process where water is used to help make products, and it is then polluted before being put back into water reservoirs, lakes and the ocean.

Recycling Creates Prosperity in the Economy â€ÂÂ" Recycling creates new jobs through adding new dimensions to the economy as well as creating work for specialist companies that consult on recycling; waste management companies who split waste into reusable and non reusable parts; and increased margins for companies that use finite resources. This is something which could be stopped by putting less chemicals and pollutants into the ground, and instead reusing them to make products which humans consume and use. It offers scrap news, scrap prices and other metal prices. If everyone done there part then not only would the earth’s limited resources last longer, but the earth as a whole and everyone on it would benefit as a result. This is only going to get worse as regions of the world become more commercialized and as shortages increase the value that can be generated from cutting them down. Although many people and organizations are doing a lot to encourag! e recycling, most people are not doing enough. Find thousands of scrap buyers and scrap suppliers.

Recycling Cuts Toxic Chemical Consumption and Slows Down Global Warming - Toxic chemicals can be reused from already consumed products meaning that the need to cause further harm from their creation can be reduced and even avoided completely in the case of many chemical products.
Recycling is the process of reusing natural resources or man made resources which slows down consumption and subsequent depletion.

Recycling Saves Trees and Wildlife Habitat â€ÂÂ" Around 95% of forest areas in the USA have been cut down, and around 50% worldwide. Considering the small fraction of the earth’s population that accounts for, recycling creates opportunities world wide and also reduces the inherent state costs of dealing with pollution, which in turn increases the amount of money that the private sector and individuals have and can potentially generate as a result.

5 Good Reasons To Recycle Inkjet Cartridges

A return mailer (recycle envelope) is generally a self-sealing plastic bag that is pre-addressed to a recycling company.
Signup for their free newsletter for tips & discount coupons at:
subscribe@asapinkjets.com or visit: http://www.asapinkjets.com/ Recycling your empty cartridges provides empty cores to cartridge remanufacturing companies that in turn, professionally refill and sell to users at a discounted price.

ASAP Inkjets offers epson ink cartridges and laser toner at up to 80%
below retail store prices. of oil will be saved. In fact, many of the companies out there that offer remanufactured cartridges actually have their own recycling programs you can take advantage of.

A common method for people to recycle inkjet cartridges is through the use of postage paid return envelopes that are sometimes included with an online inkjet cartridge purchase. To give you an idea how much that is, that he is equal in late to nearly 30,000 full grown African elephants.

Another good reason to recycle inkjet cartridges is because it can saving money. When the customer runs out of ink, they place the empty cartridge into the postage paid mailing box and drop it in the mail. The postage is pre-paid, and the whole process takes just a few seconds.

If you are going to need more ink, a great way to recycle is through the use of an inkjet cartridge refilling service such as the Jetpak mailer program.

With the Jetpak mailer program, the customer purchases a special refilling service mailer in advance. It's very easy to recycle an empty inkjet cartridge.

Here are 5 of the top reasons to recycle your empty inkjet cartridges.

Most importantly each recycled cartridge will save nearly 3 pounds of natural resources that are used for the production of a new cartridge.

Number two, for every inkjet cartridge that is recycled, an average of 3.5 oz. Consumers will see the same reliability, performance and quality as using an original brand OEM cartridge but at a lower cost.

Reason number five. An inkjet cartridge does not biodegrade in a landfill, as other waste will over time. Once a cartridge is discarded, it will be there for several hundred years. Why not recycle? When the cartridge refilling company receives the empty cartridge, the refilling service cleans, inspects, and professionally refills the cartridges and mails it back to the customer.

In about a week the completed cartridge is returned to the customer at a big savings over buying a new cartridge.
Recycling empty inkjet cartridges is an easy way for you to help to reduce the strain on our landfills. The user puts their empty inkjet cartridge into the bag, seals it, and drops it off at a post office or any mailbox. With the massive global demand for oil, supplies will eventually become more scarce.

The third reason you should recycle or reuse your empty inkjet cartridges is to reduce the strain on local landfills. Did you know that each year over 300 million printer cartridges are thrown away?

Why recycle?

It saves money, natural resources, reduces garbage and the strain on our landfills, and is the right thing to do.

Just because an empty inkjet cartridge is out of ink, doesn't mean it's broken. This equates into about 75,000 tons of garbage.

It's just ready to be recycled. This method also lowers the amount of garbage going into our landfills.

Selection of Dust Collectors for Air Cleaning

is a engineering company for industrial dust collecting systems. As with wet collectors in general, the collection efficiency of the venturi increases with higher pressure drops. Some are availbale with different number of impingement sections.

- Wet Dynamic Precipitators

This type uses water sprays within a fan housing and obtains precipitation of the dust particles on the wetted surface of an impeller with special fan blade shape. The venturi iteself is a gas conditioner causing intimate contact between particles in the gas and the multiple jet streams of scrubbing water.

DRY COLLECTORS

- Cyclone Dust Collectros

Cyclone Collectors are frequently applied for the removal of coarse dusts from an air stream, as a pre-cleaner to more efficient dry or wet dust collectors and / or as a separator in product conveying systems using an air stream to transport material. Extreme space requirements and the presence of edde currents to nullify the effective velocity mean that settling chamber type of dust collectors can be used only for removal of extremely coarse particles.

- Potable Unit Collectors

To fill the need for dust collection from isolated, portable or frequently relocated dust producing operations, a number of unit collector designs are availbale having capacities in the range of 200 to 1,000 CFM. By means of this bed a high degree of removal is obtained even on submicron size particles.

- Intermittent-Duty Fabric Collectors

These types may use either envelope or stocking arrangement of the fabric but will generally employ shaking or vibrating as a means of reconditioning. No internal pressure drop is involved although mechanical efficiency is somewhat lower than the mechanical efficiency of standard exhaust fans.

- Orifice Type Collectors

In this group of wet collectors designs, the air flow through the collector is brought in contact with a sheet of water in a restricted passage. Also, some dust represent explosion or fire hazard when dry and wet collectors eliminate or at least reduce the hazzard.

- Chamber or Spray Tower

Consists of a round or rectangular chamber into which water is introduced via spray nozzles. Featuring small space and designed to recirculate the air, collectors of this type have been used extensively, especially in the metal working industry. Dust collecting equipment is available in numerous designs utilizing a number of principles and featuring wide variation in effectiveness, initial cost, operating and maintenance expense, space, arrangements and material of construction.

Factors influencing dust collection equipment selection include:

* Concentration and particle size of contaminant;
* Degree of collection required;
* Characteristics of air or gas stream;
* Characteristics of contaminant;
* Methods of disposal.

Depenging on above factors, the following Canadian Air Systems dust collector types can be utilized:

ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPIRATORS

The principle of collection relies on the ability to impart a negative charge to particles in the gas stream causing them to move and adhere to the grounded or positively charged collector plates. These collectors are more efficient than the chamber type. These droplets are separated from the air stream by centrifugal force or impingement on water eliminators.

- Packed Towers

Collectors in this group are essentially contact beds through which gases and liquid pass either concurrently, counter=concurrently or in cross-flow and are used primarily for applications involving gas, vapor and mist removal.

- Wet Centrifugal Collectors

Wet centrifugal dust collectros utilize centrifugal force to acceslerate the dust particle and impigne it upon a wetted collector surface. Principle advantages are low cost, low maintenance and low pressure drop (in order 0.75" to 1.5" WG), but this type dust collector can not be used for collection of fine particles.

- High Efficiency Centrifugal Collectors

Have been developed whereby higher centrifugal forces are exerted on dust particles in a gas stream. They have the ability to handle high temperature and moisture-laden gases. Water flow may be induced by the velocity of the air stream or maintained by pumps and weirs.

- Venturi Scrubbers

This collector uses a venturi-shaped construction to establish throat velocities considerably higher than those experienced with the orifice type. Most precipitators are made for horizontal air flow with velocities 100 to 600 fpm.

- Fabric Collectors

Fabric arresters are high efficiency, medium cost collectros. Another type uses high pressure compressed air (100 PSI) to break the dust cake from the exterior of the fabric tube or envelope by the intermittent application of reverse-jet compressed air.

- Reverse-Flow Collapse, Continuous-Duty Collectors

Reverse-flow collapse cleaning is generally used with glass media which is fragile and requires a gentle cleaning technique. Periodically Uusually at 4 to 6 hour intervals0 the air flow must be stopped to effect reconditioning - thus the classification "intermittent".

- Multiple-Section, Continuous-Duty, Automatic Fabric Collectors

The disadvanteges of stopping the air flow to permit vibration and variations in the airflow can be overcomed by using of sectional arresters allowing continuous operation of the exhaust system as automatic dampers periodically take one section out of service for reconditioning the fabric while the remaining sections take the entire gas volume.

- Reverse-Jet Fabric Collectors

The reverse-jet type differs from the conventional arrsters in its use of high pressure air to clean the fabric. Reversing the glass flow provides a gentle collapse of the fabric usually in a "four point star" braking the dust cake which falls by gravity into the hopper.

WET COLLECTORS

Wet collectors are available in many different designs. Dust collection is obtained by building up a mat of the material on the dirty side of the media. The collection mechanism of the venturi is impaction. The collection of dust in wetted form eliminates a secondary dust problem in disposal of collected material. One type uses high pressure air (30" - 40" WG) froma travelling "blow ring" to dislodge the collected cake from inside the fabric tube. This mat provides the actual filtering or straining bed. There are many variations in design but the principal mechanism is impaction of dust particles on the liquid droplets created by nozzles. Improvement in dust separation efficiency has been obtained by 1) increasing velocities through a cyclone shape dust collector, 2) utilizing a skimmer or other design feature, 3) using a number of small diameter cyclones in parallel and 4) placing units in series in some unusual applications.

- Dry Type Dynamic Precipitators

In this collector, dust is precipitated by centrifugal force on to specially shaped blades on an exhauster wheel and then conveyed through a dust circuit in the fan casing to the dust storage hopper.

- Louver Type Dust Collectors

Centrifugal forces can be applied to a particle by a rapid change in direction of air flow by series of plates set at an angle to the air stream. Different pressure drops are achieved by designing for selected gas velocities in the throat.
Canadian Air Systems Co. Coarse particles traverse the air stream and will project back to the dirty air side by the forces that can be produced from such an impact.

- Settling Chambers

Dust is ettled out in a large chamber when conveying velocities are reduced to the point where the particles are no longer conveyed.

Empty Inkjet Cartridges Are Valuable - Recycle Them

An inkjet cartridge does not biodegrade in a landfill, as other waste will over time. The postage is already pre-paid, and the whole process takes just a few seconds.

Another way to recycle is through the use of an inkjet cartridge refilling service such as the Jetpak mailer program.

Here's how the Jetpak mailer program works. Empty inkjet cartridges are not broken, they are simply out of ink.
Recycling empty inkjet cartridges is an easy way for anybody to help to reduce the garbage we create.

Why recycle?

It just needs recycling. This provides a big savings over buying a new cartridge and also lowers the strain on our landfills.

ASAP Inkjets offers epson ink cartridges and laser toner at up to 80%
below retail store prices.

Here the top 5 reasons to recycle your empty inkjet cartridges.

First of all, almost 3 entire pounds of resources involved in production are saved when a cartridge is recycled.

Number two, 3.5 ounces of oil are save! d fort each inkjet cartridge that is recycled. It is estimated that over 300 million printer cartridges are disposed of in landfills annually. Once the refilling company receives your mailer, they will professionally inspect, clean, and refill your cartridge. If the cartridge does not pass their print test, they will mail you a credit voucher to return another empty cartridge free of charge.

In about one week the refilled cartridge is returned. Once your cartridge runs out of ink, you simply place your empty cartridge into the plastic bag provided, include your return address, and drop it in the mail.

A return mailer (recycle envelope) is usually a self-sealing plastic bag that is pre-addressed to a recycling company. First, you purchase a Jetpak prepaid mailer. They will run a print test, and if everything checks at OK they will mail it back to you. In fact, a lots of companies that offer remanufactured cartridges have their own recyc! ling programs.

An easy method for end users to recy! cle inkj et cartridges is through the use of postage paid return envelopes that are sometimes included with an online inkjet cartridge purchase. When you recycle your empty cartridges you provide empty cores to companies that can refill these cartridges, and put them back on the market at a discounted price. Because of the worldwide demand for oil, a little conservation will make a dramatic impact over the long run.

The third reason you should recycle or reuse your empty inkjet cartridges is to reduce the strain on local landfills.

It saves money, natural resources, reduces garbage and the strain on our landfills, and is the right thing to do.

Just because an empty inkjet cartridge is out of ink, doesn't mean it's broken. The consumer puts their empty inkjet cartridge into the bag, seals it, and drops it off at a post office or any mailbox. It's like putting new batteries into your flashlight.

Lastly, recycling your empty inkjet c! artridges is relatively easy. Once a cartridge is discarded, it will be there for several hundred years. Why not recycle? That creates 75,000 tons of waste each year, which is equal in weight to more than 30,500 African Elephants!

The forth reason to recycle is that recycled and remanufactured inkjet cartridges will save you money.

Petite Substitutes for Petunias in the Annual Border

Older varieties tend to open their flowers for only a portion of each day, so choose a more recent hybrid, and plant the seeds 6 to 8 weeks before the last expected frost. The plants will eventually fill in a space at least 12" wide or more, but to fill in garden space more quickly they can be planted as little as 8" apart.

Calibrachoa are available in shades of blue, pink, red, yellow and white.

Another of my favorite petunia substitutes is Nierembergia. This plant is also distantly related to petunias, and the star-shaped flowers do bare a vague resemblance to diminutive petunias, but the comparison must end there. Calibrachoa, sold as 'Million Bells', is a low-growing plant that spreads and trails over baskets and walls, much like a miniature petunia. They also look fantastic trailing over the sides of hanging baskets. Portulaca is available in orange, rose, yellow and white - all colors that would contrast beautifully if interplanted with one of the other petunia substitutes listed in this article.

Jonni writes about gardening and life on her blog at http://www.SmallCityFarm.info These plants do not do well in shady areas, but will survive in parts of your garden that are too hot for other plants to do well. I won't try to justify my dislike for the ubiquitous petunia, but if you're looking for an annual flower that will fill in some space in your flower border, and you're tired of petunias too, here are three of my favorites.

One of my favorite petunia substitutes is Calibrachoa, which is actually a distant relative of the petunia.
I don't like petunias. The plants continue to spread and bloom from late spring to frost in a carefree manner that any busy gardener will enjoy.

The Calibrachoa blooming in my garden has continued to look fantastic in spite of several weeks of weather in the upper 90's. This member of the purslane family can grow in poor soil and hot sun, as long as it receives an occasional drink of water. I planted seeds of the Nierembergia variety "Blue Mountain" that is available from Park Seed Co. This plant is also originally from South America, but is not related to petunias at all. The blossoms self-clean, so no deadheading is needed. Many other plants growing nearby have drooped in the heat, but the Nierembergia has been completely unaffected, and continues to bloom and spread.

Nierembergia is available in white, light lavender and blue-violet. The hybrids were bred from a plant found growing naturally in South America in 1988. This plant has fine-textured leaves almost completely hidden by mounds of tiny flowers. The flowers are much smaller, though, and the leaves are finer than the petunia. Mine were planted from seed this spring and transplanted to a sunny border that receives the hot western sun. These plants will grow in any sunny spot where petunias are happy, but will be much shorter. Seeds of the "White Robe" and "Purple Robe" varieties are available from Stokes Seeds.

My last suggestion for a petunia substitute is the old garden favorite, Portulaca, or moss rose. There - my prejudices are out in the open. Unfortunately, this also means that the Calibrachoa will not set seed, and new plants will need to be purchased each spring since these hybrid plants are patented.

The 'Million Bells' we find each spring in the nursery were originally part of an extensive breeding program conducted by a Japanese company called Suntory Ltd, which now holds its patent. Like Nierembergia, the moss rose can easily be started from seed.

Sustainable Energy

As per the surveys it has been noticed that the cost of energy generation is much lesser to the other means of energy generation. They accounted for almost 18% of the production in 2004, just after coal (40%) and natural gas (close to 20%), but ahead of nuclear (16%), oil (7%) and other nonrenewable waste. The Governments provide the grants to their respective countries. Sustainable energy is also the alternative of the fossil energy. In this current scenario one of the biggest social problems is pollution.

Increasing the use of sustainable or renewable energy decrease the use of fossil fuel resources and increase the contribution of world energy security. These are not only bio friendly but very economical also. Various NGOs and environmentalists are working to make popular the sustainable energy. And where the blessings of electricity have not reached yet, the growth of renewable energy is greatly noticeable.

According to Helmut Kaiser Consultancy of Zurich the yield and storage of renewable energy will be the fastest growing sector in the energy market over the next 20 years. Keeping the earth a healthy clean and clear!

Solar panels are now vastly used for the domestic pas well as commercial purpose. When the fossil energy resources are consumed the emission from these are causing the pollution.

Abir Roychowdhury is a professional Internet Marketer. If we use the wood pellet stoves or boilers instead of other means of stoves or boilers, we can save the environment, storage of bio fuels as well as our money also. To prevent the alarming growth of the environment pollution it becomes very necessary to use the sustainable energies instead of the fossil energy. And how is that you are using the energy as much as you require and that doesn’t create any pollution. The sources of the sustainable energy are natural like solar power hydro power wind power bio fuel biomass geothermal power and so on. Wood pellets are exhausted completely. You can have a look on the hyperlinks mentioned below where you can get the SEI Grant scheme available in Ireland. That means it saves your money. The market of renewable energy is vast as well as open and growing very fast.
Sustainable energy is the renewable energy which is not expected to be exhausted in a timeframe and its sources are not supposed to be consumed ever. The sources of the renewable energy are inexhaustible. These energies can be used in household, automotive and every commercial field.

Most of the progressive countries are now taking positive steps to promote the renewable energy. Sustainable energy is consisting of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Now a day it has been noticed that the use of the sustainable energy sources are increasing in the suburban areas rather than the towns and villages. This list is very much useful to avail the full benefit of installing the solar panels. Renewable energy is the third largest contributor to the global electricity production. For fireplaces Galway Ireland, Gas Fires Solid Fuel Stoves & Gas Stoves Galway Ireland or Wood Pellet Stoves Ireland Wood Pellet Boilers Galway Solar Panels Galway Sustainable energy Ireland please visit the above links The percentage of waste in the wood pellet stoves is around 1â€ÂÂ"2% only. Now this is not only used for bio ! friendly reasons but this is also used for profit maximizing for the commercial houses also.

Renewable energies are crucial contributors to the energy supply as they contribute to the world energy supply security, reducing dependency on fossil fuel resources and provide opportunities for extenuating greenhouse gases.

Global Warming And Climate Change - The Future Is Not Yours

By 2011 it may already be clear to most people that this is happening.
It is of utmost importance and for your own benefit to understand that based on the current state of affairs with the planet, there will soon no longer be a future with sustainable living conditions. By increasing the understanding what the future will hold, people are often more likely to wish to make lifestyle changes.
From a Truth perspective there is hardly any time left to make enough changes so that the present generation can survive the last years of their life. This disaster can only narrowly be averted if people on every continent will come to the fore and begin to carry out lifestyle changes where they can.
For many years there has been a trend for people to be in denial that there will be major changes because of global warming and climate change. They will need to find ways to reverse the current trends of ecological and environmental damage that is happening all over the world, and is still on the increase.
Most of humanity has not been aware and is inactive about a possible scenario, which has the potential of becoming an enormous looming disaster. Most people would agree, however, that the future outlook is not good given the rate at which global warming is increasing and given the already known facts scientists have been presenting, which show how much the planet's ecology has been damaged. This will have an effect on most of humanity. Humanity will need to reverse a process of unsustainable growth due to lifestyle choices and economic growth, as its current way of living cannot adequately sustain humanity in the near future.
Good governance and implementation of plans to support the environment are of major importance, however, every individual will need to have the will-power as well as the insight to make adequate changes to reduce their impact on the environment.
No single individual has all the answers for the planet's problems, the immensity of which is beyond most people's daily outlook of life. There is not enough time left to make adequate changes to change this process.

Climate change has begun and evidence of this can be found everywhere. Global warming and climate change can no longer be denied.
Those in a position of power and those that are in an educational role are in particular in a privileged position to be the first ones to participate, contribute and be of assistance with these needed lifestyle changes. Most people would like to think that all will be well, however, this is no longer possible.
Most people are aware that life at the moment is no longer what they were expecting because of many changes in society and because of climate change. It is important to better understand what this global rise in temperature will mean for the planet and your overall future.
Despite the fact that global awareness about the state of the planet has increased enormously of late, more and more technological advances are becoming available and there is an increased willingness to make sustainable changes to help the environment, on a practical level there is not enough action taken to prevent the current process of unsustainable growth.
Lifestyle changes are the most important issue humanity will have to face. However, few people are aware that within the next five years far more change is expected happen.
Many planetary and weather changes will begin to emerge because of global warming and climate change.
People will have to become more actively involved in making the necessary, mainly lifestyle, changes for the benefit of their own future and for that of next generations. Most of the important resources are dwindling enormously.

Should I put a windmill on my house to save the planet?

You can also consider using a ground source heat pump to heat your home, and solar PV panels on your roof to generate electricity, but these measures can be expensive, and so will not be for everyone. Most famously in the UK, David Cameron, the leader of the Conservative Party, had a small wind turbine installed on the roof of his London home.

However, for most households, especially in cities, wind turbines are an expensive way to achieve very little. And this assumes that the turbine is working efficiently.

However in cities, the buildings cause a great deal of wind turbulence, and slow down wind speeds. Electricity generated from the wind does not produce any carbon dioxide, and has none of the worries associated with nuclear power. The first thing you should focus on is using energy much more efficiently, by insulating your home to save heat, installing a super-efficient condensing boiler, buying energy-efficient appliances like fridges and washing machines, and installing low energy light bulbs.

Once you have taken these basic measures, you can start to think about generating your own energy using other ‘clean’ technologies. Furthermore, the cost of generating electricity from large wind turbines is falling, and is expected soon to be cost competitive with electricity generation from fossil fuels.

As a result of this, wind farms have sprung up all over the place, with enormous turbines that each generate enough electricity to power thousands of homes. More recently it has become a popular way to generate electricity, as concern has grown about man-made Climate Change. Some people have also tried to replicate this technology on a small scale, by installing a small wind turbine on their house.
Wind energy is a tried and tested technology that has been used for centuries. If we could generate a substantial portion of our electricity from wind, we would massively reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that we emit into the atmosphere.

The only case when you should consider a wind turbine is when you can site it far enough from any obstacles like buildings, and in a relatively windy site. It has been calculated that a 1.75 metre diameter wind turbine, in an area with UK average wind speed of 4 metres a second, will produce under 5% of an average UK household’s annual electricity consumption. In fact they are almost useless. Fixing a windmill on a long pole like this would likely cause serious damage to your house, as would trying to go for a bigger turbine to generate a larger proportion of your electricity. It is possible that in the future someone will come up with a better design that can work in cities, but until then we will have to carry on building the larger versions, and take other actions to reduce our home’s contribution to Climate Change.
The most cost effective of these is generally solar hot water, where solar panels on your roof provide up to 70% of your annua! l hot water needs by using the sun’s heat. Therefore to make a turbine work efficiently it would need to be fixed far above a house (up to 10 metres). More details of all these technologies are available on downwithco2.co.uk.

Unfortunately small wind turbines in their current design are not the way forward for the vast majority of us. So what should you do instead? Some people who live in the country are able to set up turbines that generate a significant proportion of their own electricity.

However, the vast majority of people live in cities, where small wind turbines are next to useless. As a result, many have come to see it as a major part of the solution for man-made Climate Change.

Poor soundproofing between attached properties

Developments completed since 2003 are much more likely to have far greater sound insulation, although, as this article has tried to highlight, not a guarantee. Increased noise is partly a consequence of modern living e.g. He can be reached by email at mike@asoundsolution.biz or via the website www.asoundsolution.biz.

Author’s Bio:

Mike Legon is an acoustics consultant specialising in building and planning, and the founding Director of asoundsolution. powerful stereos, high density living, housing stock formed by the conversion of unsuitable buildings. In the late 60s, building regulations included sound insulation performance standards for the first time on a national basis - prior to this they were dealt with locally. These regulations had varying, but similar, incarnations up until the introduction of Approved Document E in 2003.

To put the problem in context a brief historical overview can help. In addition failed building regulations compounded the issue and led in 2003 to compulsory sound testing with the introduction of Approved Document E to the Building Regulations. Essentially the regulations pre-2003 specified a number of building designs and materials that if followed were assumed to provide satisfactory sound insulation in residential dwellings. Typically this is fine for a small development, as it covers most living accommodation areas. As an acoustic consultant my advice would be to ask the “noisy neighbours” questions before you rent or buy the property, or even commission a sound insulation test prior to procedure. Dwellings built using this approach were declared as "deemed to satisfy" and issued with a completion certificate by the building control body as having complied with the sound insulation regulations. Yes! , definitely, but the situation is not as black and white as it may initially seem. Problem solved?

This, almost self-certification scheme, was flawed and failed on a number of counts:

If a builder used an alternative design method, the sound insulation properties of the design would require testing.

The 2003 Building Regulations do not apply retrospectively and therefore only new builds and conversions after this date are given this heightened level of regulation protection that hopefully offers the enhanced quality of life one would expect.

A consultation paper prior to the 2003 regulations highlighted the failings of the "old" regulations with a massive 40 % of separating floors, and 25% of separating walls failing to achieve the performance standards required. People are understandably sensitive to and intolerant of noise between dwellings. Yes, it is an additional expense, but can you put a price on a good quality of home life? However, it can be a flaw in larger developments where the potential occupier has a 90% chance of occupying a dwelling that has not been tested and may fall short of the required levels of soundproofing. The single wall or floor that did not achieve the required sound level performance typically has the appropriate remedial measures, a re-test is commissioned and the appropriate certificates issued by the acoustic consultancy.
“I can hear (too much noise from) my neighbours, how can this be improved?” is one of the most common questions asked of acoustic consultants.

The other potential shortcoming of the Approved Document E is the procedure if a test fails.

To summarise, buying a property that was newly built or formed by the conversion of an existing dwelling prior to 2003 Building Regulations significantly increases your chances of being disturbed by your neighbours.

Has compulsory sound insulation testing improved the sound insulation between dwellings? Providing the test results met the requirements this report could be used in any number of subsequent constructions even though the site conditions would be very different and the design not suitable.
Certain published designs offered inherently poor sound insulation performance!
The sound insulation properties of a construction depend largely on the quality of the workmanship. A failed test should raise questions regarding the party walls/floors in the development that have not been tested and the following process should take place:

An investigation into the reason for the failure.
Remedial work once the problem has been identified.
If the failure is attributed to the construction and/or the associated flanking elements, remedial work should be carried out on the walls/floors that have not been tested.
The developer should demonstrate to the satisfaction of the building control body that the other rooms meet the performance requirements.
After a failed set of tests, the rate of testing should increase until the building control body is satisfied that the problem has been solved. You would think so, but unfortunately the Building Regulations and Approved Document E arguably fall short of the mark. This led to the introduction of the 2003 regulations and compulsory sound insulation testing. Building Control receives the certificate and signs the building off none the wiser that there may be a fundamental flaw with the soundproofing in the rest of the development. Approved Document E recommends that only up to 10% of the rooms in a development require testing.

In reality this increased level of tests rarely happens.

Perspektive malih hidro elektrana u Srbiji

Critical tips to improve the performance of your environmental lobbying organization

However, programs such as that offered by Antioch University provide graduate level training in environmental advocacy and organizing. He is a strategy consultant to the free conference calling service which was originally pioneered by Rondee.com. Yet the ongoing actual management of such advocacy groups is another matter.

All of these offerings work on the same underlying principle: they give you a personal access number and a toll number to dial. Indeed, these networks provide the psychological support which is so vital to sustaining enthusiasm amongst group officers and members.

Use web technology strategically

Some environmental advocacy groups have distributed leadership teams, and it is difficult to expect in person meetings. Another driver is the availability of free conference calling services such as Rondee.com. Also consider seeking the participation of a faculty or staff member who can offer guidance and advice to your group.
Environmental advocacy is a remarkably diverse area. If all users dial the same number and enter the same PIN code, they are put into a group call. Committing to three goals with 100% effort will generally yield superior results compared to going after nine goals at 33% effort.

Increase your network

The most successful lobbying groups create networks of supporters who share their philosophy and goals. And in the last few years, there has been increasing levels of coordination between geographically diverse environmental lobbying groups. One solution is to use an application to allow desktop sharing

Whether it's sharing a PowerPoint presentation illustrating the group's fundraising initiatives or a spreadsheet showing the tracking of volunteer participation, desktop sharing can be quite useful for many advocacy groups.

The silver lining is that these strategies are not costly. This article shares several insights from the trenches.

Collaborate with other environmental lobbying groups

New York State alone has over 400 environmental advocacy organizations listed by the Environmental Conservation Department of Environmental Conservation. It involves both protecting the public from environmental hazards and shielding the resources of nature.

Students at these programs are excellent candidates to be recruited as volunteers or leaders for your organization. While the word networking often gets a negative connotation, the simple fact is these networks can provide substantial assistance and members can stay connected more easily through conference calling technology. Virtually all environmental lobbying groups operate under significant time limitations. Environmental advocacy groups can improve their performance through these tips.

Bob Letterman talks about about network technology and other topics of concern to environmental lobbying groups. Indeed, they train students for careers as advocates and community organizers. As gains have been secured at the local, state and federal level, there is a growing understanding in the field that further successes will be contingent on inculcating the same professional skills as private and government organizations that encapsulate best managerial practices.

When you read about successfully launching an environmental lobbying organization you might find some good advice in the literature.

One driver of this trend has been lower flight travel costs â€ÂÂ" a trend that may now be reversing with skyrocketing fuel costs. While students arrive and depart as the years go by; faculty generally remain.

Stay well focused

The most effective environmental groups are ones that stay clearly focused on their mission and do not get enmeshed in peripheral goals. That is why many environmental lobbying groups struggle to effectively manage.

Involve academic experts

A frequent misconception is that campus curricula is too far removed from the realities of environmental politics to be meaningful.

How To Really Save Planet Earth: A Test About Al Gore

Then, with a golden opportunity to enlighten and empower Americans, Michael Brune of the Rain Forest Action Network only highlighted the problem with even our "environmental" groups. Jeff is putting together a contest for students with a grand prize of one million dollars called "The Great Earth Contest," aimed at enlightening kids on the cause of our planet’s problems - and the real solution. HUH? Yep, that's right. It is animal gases that produce more CO2 than any of the cars we're driving."

To which Michael Brune disagreed. Michael Brune of "Rain Forest Action Network"
D. report tells of a tragedy in the making on everyone's dinner plates, and it doesn't stop there; global warming concerns are now keeping kids up at night.
If you really want to bring the Earth back from the brink of disaster, who should you be listening to?

A. This is not a political or governmental issue. WE, each of us, has a hand in global warming, and, therefore, its cure. The great news is, if we each switch to eating a vegan diet, we will no longer have to "save the planet." Veganism allows the planet to save itself.

Major kudos to Glenn Beck

------

Jeff Popick, known as "The Vegan Sage," is a keen visionary & a leading expert on the diverse effects our diet has on our health & environment. For more info, go to www.JeffPopick.com. Ms. Concerts galore, one million TV shows on the "Top Seven Ways ..." and pseudo-environmentalists be damned. Therefore, and by way of deductive reasoning, the answer must be and is (drum roll, please) Glenn Beck. If we stop eating animals and their secretions, we will stop killing the planet. Al Gore of "Live Earth" and "An Inconvenient Truth"
B. Sawyer's suggestion to cut back on toilet paper is a bit of poo itself. Food and Agriculture Organization last November charged that raising livestock produced more "greenhouse gases" globally than the international transportation system." http://www.crosswalk.com/news/11543779/

The U.N. http://www.gm.tv/index.cfm?articleid=24717

Kids, and all Americans, need to know that they are the empowered ones. Glenn Beck, the ultra-conservative, speaks out on CNN Headline News while interviewing Michael Brune and tells people how to really save the environment.

In speaking about the Live Earth concerts, Glenn said, "There's nowhere in here about vegetarianism or anything like that, that would make a real impact on the environment ... It is as simple as that. Conservative commentator Glenn Beck of "CNN Headline News"

"An Inconvenient Truth" left out the most inconvenient truth of all, and the Live Earth concerts were an environmental joke (and the music was really bad, too). Without veganism for all people, nothing else can possibly save our doomed planet. Diane Sawyer of ABC's "Seven Ways to Help Save the World"
C. Thanks, Glenn, for doing what Al Gore, Diane Sawyer and even Michael Brune have refused to do.

"A report released by the U.N. Michael? Global warming, rain forest destruction, coral reefs dying off, topsoil erosion, poisoned water and polluted air are all a result of animal agriculture, and everybody including our "environmental" groups refuses to connect these dots. Earth to Michael Come in, Michael.

The fact is, a HUGE portion of our environmental problems come from eating meat and dairy (and from producing meat and dairy), and Glenn Beck, of all people, hit the nail square on the head.
